Gates of garages

When one makes build his house, one thinks of full with things: the installation of the kitchen, layout of the parts, the color of the main door… but seldom with its gate of garage. The choice is not as simple as it appears to with it.

It is those which release the most place. This mode of opening gives you the choice between various types of gates:

The not motorized gates can be equipped with closings to one, two or three points of locking, in particular for those integrating a wicket. For the automated gates, the security system varies according to the models: system anti-raising which locks the gate in the event of effraction, detector of luminous presence inside the garage.

Actuated several times per day, a gate of garage must answer several European standards of security. Thus take care that it is equipped with a detector with presence or obstacles which immediately stops the opening or closing in the event of danger. In addition, if you made the choice of the motorization, inside the garage, a system must enable you to be able to unbolt it at once and to actuate the gate in the event of power cut manually.

You motorize!

All the manufacturers propose the motorization, of series or in option, functioning by remote control and/or keyboard. You can choose among several possibilities: lighting external and interior as of the starting of the engine, dying out after a marking time of two minutes, the automatic locking of the gate or even programming of partial opening, like the wicket, to let pass a pedestrian or a two-wheeled vehicle. You can supplement the motorization by an amber light of security which will inform as of the opening and the closing of the gate.

Since May 1st, 2005, the gates of garage must be equipped with a security , a side protection (against the access of the fingers between the dashboard and the dormant framework) and with a device safety against the recall of gate. The motorized gates must also be equipped with a trim system of stop, which locks the gate as soon as it meets an obstacle.
